Steve Jennings
Director/Trainer
Steve started No Compromise! Fitness in 2006 after a two year stint working at local gyms in the Tauranga/Mount Maunganui area. The vision was to provide a cost effective option to costly gym memberships and provide a service to those people who do not enjoy the gym environment. The result has been a positive increase in classes and class attendees since 2006. "There is nothing better than satisfied customers walking away from the class on a mental high, then coming back over and over again because they are reaping the rewards of a leaner, meaner body and mind." Steve's approach to physical fitness is functional strength training combined with fun activities to get the best from his clients. "I change the workout at every single fitness session to keep people challenged and motivated. Functional training gives people better physical results inside and out."
Steve has also provided fitness training to the Bay of Plenty Steamers Rugby Union and performed work experience with the Waikato Chiefs Super 14 team. Steve is currently involved with his home Rugby team of Katikati as a director for the teams fitness in 2011. He currently plays senior reserve grade cricket for Katikati and won the best bowler trophy in a year that the team won their first ever McNaughton Trophy title in the competitive Baywide tournament.
Steve is Married to Heidi and welcomed their first child, Bonnie in November 2010.

Anna Standen
Boxing Bootcamp/Baby Box Trainer
As long as I can remember I have been interested in sports and fitness – this interest ultimately led to my enrolment in the school of Physical Education (P.E.) at Otago University.
After graduating with a P.E. degree in 1999 I worked with Beachside health Club in the North Shore of Auckland for 5 years, progressing from a fitness trainer to a personal trainer and finally manager of the club. I had a break from the fitness industry when I had my first child in early 2005. Our family then moved to Tauranga where I started part time personal training again at a prominent local gym. I have subsequently qualified as a secondary school PE teacher and had a 2nd daughter in August 2010.
To date my career has focused mainly on training women, particularly those interested in losing weight, improving muscle tone and increasing their overall fitness levels. I also have a special interest in pre and post natal training.
I became involved in the No Compromise Boxing boot camp as a participant in 2011. As a participant I was hugely impressed with the style of workouts and my personal results. When Steve asked if I would like to be involved in taking some of the classes I jumped at the chance to be involved with one of the best fitness programmes I have had the privilege to be involved with.
I look forward to helping you on your way with your fitness goals.
